Show PREPARE NOW TO REAP BENEFITS Prosperity for Dixie is on the way and it is coming faster than many of us realize. It is the general opinion in Salt Lake that the Boulder dam controversy con-troversy will soon be settled and actual work commenced on the structure within a year or less. This will mean a market close at hand for everything we can produce; it will take care of all surplus labor of this section, and will be the means of greatly increasing increas-ing travel over U. S. 91. Preparations should be made now to reap the full benefit of this coming prosperity. All available land should be made ready for production. Overproduction Over-production will be an impossibility. Nearly two hundred million dollars will be spent within 150 miles of us, and ten thousand men will be employed em-ployed over a period of from seven to ten years. The labor turnover, together to-gether with visitors on their way to the dam site, and the regular tourist travel will more than treble the present pres-ent travel through St. George. These travelers must be fed and housed, and our attractions should be given publicity pub-licity in the effort to induce tourists to stop over here, that they may become be-come acquainted with our many advantages. |
