Show DIXIE POWER CO. BANQUETS AT CEDAR Last Monday night at 7 o'clock at the Escalante hotel in Cedar City a dinner was served ta the officials of the Dixie Power company, com-pany, representatives of Provo concerns con-cerns and factory representatives present. There waere about thirty in attendance, among whom were Keber Rupper and wife, W. F. Miller, Inez Cox, J. H. Messer, Geo. D. Grimshaw, Jennie Reeves, C. Covill, Ada Gardner, Melba Reeves, Dale Thompson, A. L. Woodhouse and wife, Reid H. Gardner and wife, Jos. F. Hansen, J. M. Herbert, Mr. and Mrs. Bird, Mr. Nelson, Irvin Bryner and wife, C. A.. Thompson, and Mr. and Mrs. Jcs. Empey. After 'the dinner Reid H. Gardner, Gard-ner, assistant general manager of the power company introduced ! those present. He made a short talk on the value of the major electrical appliances. He then introduced in-troduced Mr. Rupper of Provo who spoke on his visit to the ABC washer factory in Peoria, Til., together to-gether with Mr. Herbert and Mr. Hansen. Other speakers were A. L. Woodhouse, general manager of the company who talked on ''Optimism, Confidence in the Futsre, and the- Return of Good Business." |
