Childs returned Tuesday Tues-day evening from Salt Lake City and other northern points where he has been on business the past few days. George Seegmiller is under the doctor's care with a severe case of blood poisoning in his left hand, the result of a slight cut received several days ago. Mrs. F. R. Bentley of Enterprise came in Monday to spend the week visiting at the home of her mother, Mrs. Alice Bleak. Also visiting at her home is Mrs. Bleak's sister, M!rs. Adrena Wilson of Los Angeles, who arrived Tuesday evening expecting to remain for some time. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Fulmer of Florence, Colorado, who have spent the past four months in Salt Lake City, spent Monday with Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Worthen, en route to Los Angeles to visit Mrs. Fulmer's parents. I Mrs. Sebra Foremaster left Sun day morning for a brief business trip to Salt Lake City. Ephraim Foremaster returned on I Saturday evening from a two weeks business trip to Los Angeles. Mrs. M. S. McDonald of Spokane and Warren A. Ross and A. A. Parre of Montreal, Canada, left on Monday for Los Angeles. Mrs. Elma Miles and Mrs. Afton McArthur entertained the O. D. O. club at the home of the latter last Thursday evening. Games were played following the luncheon. Mrs. Juanita Pulsipher left early ear-ly Friday morning to spend the week end in Provo and Salt Lake City. She returned with the Dixie College debaters. The three children of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Perkins were brought up from Overton and will be cared for by Mrs. Rosina Bleak. Mrs. Perkins is still in a hospital following her accident in Provo eight weeks ago, but it is thought she will be able to return home within three or four weeks. Complimentary to Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Mundy who have moved to Cedar City to make their home, Mr. and Mrs. Kumen D. Williams entertained eight couples at their residence last Saturday evening. Following luncheon, Five Hundred was the entertainment feature of the evening. W. H. and J. A. Cunningham arrived ar-rived in St. George from Los Angeles An-geles Friday evening and registered at the Arrowhead hotel. They remained re-mained in St. George for a day or two before continuing on to Spokane. Among those attending the ball games at Cedar City Saturday night were President Jos. K. Nicholes, R. U. Stewart returned Monday Mon-day morning from Mammoth where she has been visiting the past two weeks. She will remain in St. George with her mother, Mrs. Linda Riding, Rid-ing, until school closes. Mr. and Mrs. John Bolander and son Giles of Orderville spent the fore part of the week in St. Georpe attending temple sessions and visiting vis-iting friends. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. E. Miller and two children, John and Edna May, and Miss Edith Harris left Sunday for Los Angeles. Mr. MUcr and Miss Harris returned Tuesday evening eve-ning while Mrs. Miller and the children will remain in Lof Angeles An-geles for two or three months. Miss Eleanor Ward arrived here Thursday night from Sacramento, Calif., where she has resided lor the past three years. After sending send-ing Friday in St. George, Miss Ward left Saturday morning for Zion park where she has employment. Mr. and Mrs. Dolph Lund and Mr. Lund's sister, Mi.ss Irene Seegmiller, Seeg-miller, spent the past week in Compton and other California points.
