Our Sunday school was reorganized reorgan-ized last Sunday and Haven Pax-man Pax-man ordained superintendent, with Preston Larson and Archie Tobler as counselors. Mrs. Misha Bigler and daugh-! ter, Roean of Nephi, are here : visiting relatives and friends. Ernest Tanner, who has been quite ill, is reported to be improving. im-proving. Mrs. Ann Nisson entertained the Les Amies club Thursday. Calvin Hall, who has been I postmaster here for the past 20 J years, has resigned and Mrs. Lydia Stephens has been ap-: pointed in his place. Miss Merle Wilkins of Delta is visiting relatives here. The Twenty-fourth was celebrated cele-brated here with sports for all ; in the afternoon, and a children's ! dance at night. j Mrs. Mamie .Larson, son .Preston .Pres-ton and daughter Linda, spent the Twenty-fourth in Enterprise. Mrs. Larson remained there to visit with relatives. Miss May Griffith of Gooding, Idaho, arrived last week to visit her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Prince. Mr. and Mrs. James Wilkins and family of Delta spent the Twenty-fourth here as guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Jolley. They returned home Monday. Cal Jolley and Miss Brinker-hoff Brinker-hoff of Glendale spent Monday here. Mrs. Viola Larson is spending a few weeks in Cedar City. Mrs. Caddie Neilson entertained entertain-ed the Les Amies club Thursday afternoon. Mrs. Misha Bigler of Nephi was an invited guest. |
