Show fiS. IDA CROSBY PASSES AWAY Toxic Poison, Settling in One Lung, Develops Into Pneumonia Pneu-monia Which Causes Death i Mrs. Ida Crosby, wife of Charles W. Crosby, passed away, at the hospital here at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning after an illness of about two weeks duration. Death was caused from toxic poison which settled in one lung and developed into pneumonia. Up to a short time before her death she showed show-ed signs of improvement, and it was thought she would recover. Thirty-six hours before her death her condition changed rapidly for the worse and and she passed away Tuesday morning. morn-ing. Mrs. Crosby was born in St. George, December 15, 1890, the daughter of Arthur Ar-thur F. and Ida Walker Miles. On November 10, 1917, she was married mar-ried to Charles W. Crosby, who, with four children survive her. They are Wendyl 9, Paul and Edith 6, and Arthur Ar-thur 3. One son, Benfi passed away a few years ago. The following brothers broth-ers also survive: Fred Miles, Black-foot, Black-foot, Idaho; Raymond, Provo; Richard, Rich-ard, Helena, Montana, and Wyatt, Panguitch, and two half-sisters, Florence Flor-ence and Katherine Miles, of St. George. Mrs. Crosby was very active in church affairs. She served as president presi-dent of the East Ward Mutual, as Ward Sunday school teacher, Mutual Teacher, Relief Society teacher, and was county librarian for several years. Funeral services were held Wednesday Wednes-day afternoon at 4 o'clock at the tabernacle tab-ernacle under the direction of the East ward bishopric, John Cottam presiding.
