E Goodrich of Tridell were married November 21 in inthe the Salt Lake Temple The parents of the bride are Mr and Mrs Norman R. R Fletcher of z Vernal and the parents of the groom are Mr and Mrs Rae H. H Goodrich of Tridell Clarence performed the double ring ceremony Witnessing the ceremony were many relatives and friends including the t parents of the bride and groom Mr and Mrs Martin T Fletcher Fletcher Flet Flet- cher chert Eva Mecham and Mr and Mrs Clarence Bowden grandparents of the bridal couple Mr and Mrs David j Fletcher Mr and Mrs Sherman Sherman Sherman Sher- Sher man man- Flet Fletcher her Virgi Virginia 2 Livingston Mr and Mrs Clayton Curtis Mr and Mrs Mrs' Terry Fletcher Mr and Mrs c Donald Schurz Stacey Lee Fletcher Mr and Mrs Jerry Goodrich Bishop and Mrs Errol Merkley Mr and Mrs Mike McKee Mr and Mrs Douglas McKee Mr and Mrs Ernest A Ahlborn hi born Mr and Mrs Forrest Goodrich Mr and Mrs Merlin McKee Mr and Mrs David Rowe and Annette Ward A BUFFET luncheon was hosted by the grooms groom's parents at the East Millcreek Ward Chapel It was prepared by Mary Kathy Banks and Kathleen Hamilton The wedding trip took the newly weds through southern Utah and Arizona The young couple will make their home in Tridell The bride will continue her employment at Walker Bank in Vernal and the groom will continue at Deseret Federal in Roosevelt A reception was held in the Glines First Ward Chapel Chapelon on November 28 TIlE THE ImIDES BRIDES dress was designed by the bride and made by her mother It was made of heavy white polyester crepe with a very full skirt and four tiers of chantilly lace ruffles on the overskirt The bodice of the dress was made with a high neckline with a sheer ninon yoke which was outlined both front and back with heavy lace Ince motifs The lace sleeves were long and full Cull ending in a wide cuff with the design of the lace outlined with seed pearls and the cuffs had a scalloped border of pearls The la lace e motifs on the bodice were also studded with tiny pearls The brides bride's veil was made in two tiers of bridal illusion edged in lace to match her dress Small pearls outlined the design on the lace The veil was held by bya a shaped flower-shaped tiara which was encrusted with tiny pearls Her bouquet was a cascade of blue and green daisies accented by white baby roses and tied with blue and green ribbon streamers CANDY A Wendy dy Flet Fl FleR- FleR i cher sisters of the bride were were maids of honor Karen Schurz Lee Ann Howells and Janeen Cook were bridesmaids Tracy Fletcher was the flower girl The maids of honor wore full- full length dresses of apple green gauze with cream colored lace yokes and cuffs The bridesmaids were in pale blue and green print dresses with white lace yokes and cuffs The flower girl wore a miniature version of the bridesmaids dresses All the attendants carried nosegays of blue and green daisies tied with blue and green ribbon streamers The brides bride's mother wore a length floor-length pale blue crepe dress with a sheer print jacket The grooms groom's mother wore wore pale green crepe also with a sheer print facet THE TILE BEST man was John Bartlett The groom wore a white tuxedo trimmed with black velvet and with black trousers The best man and the fathers wore black tuxedos with blue and green shirts The bridal party stood before a backdrop of blue and green with green garlands accented by tiny blue and green lights The serving area was roped off with green garlands and blue and green lights A fountain of blue water completed the scene The round serving tables were covered with length floor cloths of blue and green and each was centered with two blown glass swans on a round mirror USHERS WERE Lane and nd Sherman Fletcher Valerie Fletcher and Claudia Fletcher poured at tl the serving table Jn In charge of the kitchen were Mr Mrs and Cl t cuitis Curtis Helenl Helen McKeachnie Marcia Leibhardt and Arly Fletcher Serving were Kathy Bartlett Tina Goodrich Christine Perry and Beverly Simmons Gift bearers were Matthew Shannon and Robyn Fletcher assisted by Karla Fletcher and Russell Goodrich In charge of the gifts were Barbara Goodrich and Vivian Winterton At the guest book was Janice Van Tassell Tassels Honored guests at the reception were grandparents of the couple Mr and Mrs Martin Fletcher and Eva Mecham of Salt Lake City Master of ceremonies for the short program was Court Anderson An An- derson The program consisted of a numerous reading by Virginia Goodrich two instrumental instrumental instrumental in in- numbers by Arda Mansfield and Vernon Esplin accompanied on the piano by Elizabeth Esplin A vocal duet entitled Circle of our Love was sung by Barbara Cain and Candy Fletcher THE TIIE CAKE was made by Elva Bowthorpe a friend of the bride and presented to the young couple as a wedding gift I It H was made in five tiers Iced in white and trimmed with blue and green rosebuds in white sugar bells The bottom tier consisted of four large heart heart- shaped cakes supporting the second layer which was round White glass swan columns separated the next two layers which were four smaller heart heart- shaped cakes supporting a |
