Show SIC Girl Scouts Entertain Children WHITEROCKS S nOCI Community children were treated to lo a week of learning turning experiences ex ex- by a group of Girl Girt Scouts of Salt Lake City In the Cottonwood area last week They were vere the th Cadetto Cadette Girl Scout Troop No and leader teader Melba TWO MOTHERS Irma Lausmann and Sandra Dry Bryson on also accompanied the group Girls present were Tina Barker Debra Stacey Cox Mary Cozakos Cozakos Coz Coz- akos Karen Kuen Ertman Tamera Hanson Debra Kitt Jenny Kitt Patsy Klauber Evelyn Eveln Lausmann Nancy Ped Cindy Morrison Lynda Morrison and Vickie Westphal The girls spent months in planning for a 1 protect and after writing s several veral places Whiterocks was chosen They sta stayed ed at the Parish Hall In Whiterocks Monday they registered all students wantIng wanting want want- Ing to attend and Tuesday began the round of activities A free lunch at noon was provided to about 50 children per day EACH DAY there was WM a n project In the arts and craft division plus singing and games Some Salt Lake City stores donated food and craft articles The girls ranged in age from 12 to 14 Henry of Neola and Father Gerald Mason 1 of Vernal were helpful to the group The project was to experiment in friendship In a community away from home Mrs stated that the girls had been well received and the experience had been a profitable one They are already making pl plans ns for next year |
