Peterson and friends in Lark on Thursday, Sept. 10. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Bigler visited vis-ited Wednesday, Sept. 9 vith Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Earl of Salt Lake City. G. E. Lloyd of Nelise, Calif., visited with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Bigler on Monday, Sept. 14. He is a nephew of Mrs. Bigler. LARK WARD RELIEF SOCIETY AND PRIMARY ANNOUNCE NEW OFFICERS New officer slates were announced an-nounced this week for the Lark Ward Relief Society and the Lark Ward Primary. They are: Relief Society Mrs. Roberta Rasmussen, president; Mrs. Myr-le Myr-le Foist, first counselor; Mrs. Ina Lofgran, second counselor, and Mrs. Beatrice Reed, secretary and treasurer. Primary Mrs. Elaine Fahrni, president; Mrs. Lillis Sandstrom, first counselor; Mrs. Ruby Hansen, Han-sen, second counselor, and Mrs. Mary Beth Walker, secretary and treasurer. Lark Lions club held their regular re-gular meeting on Monday, Sept. 14. Zone chairman K. Kendall Holmes was guest speaker of the evening. It was reported that the annual turkey shoot will be held on Oct. 4, and also that the plans are going forth for a ball park. A birthday dinner was given for Mrs. Virginia Seal at Harmon's Har-mon's Cafe by her family on Monday evening, Sept. 14. Besid- LARK NEWS Joy Seal 901J1 Lark Lions club will hold their annual turkey shoot at the But-terfield But-terfield Gun club on Sunday, October 4th, it was reported. The shooting will get underway at 10 a.m. Proceeds from the event will be contributed to the Lark youth activities fund. Ward conference was held at Lark Ward last Sunday, Septem ber 13, at which time Sidney Arnold Ar-nold was relieved of his position as first counselor in the ward bishopric. Eugene Pearson was advanced to first counselor and Floyd Rasmussen was appointed second counselor. James Reed is still the bishop. Tommy Ciawson and mother, Mrs. Horace Ciawson, of Ogden, visited with relatives and friends in Lark on Sunday, Sept. 13. All officers and teachers of Lark Ward ate requested to at- |
