Show Indian Placement Students Enjoy Social A Uintah Basin Indian student placement placement place place- ment program social was held Saturday Saturday Satur Satur- day evening at the Vernal bowling alley Indian students living with famili families fam fam- ili s throughout Uintah and Duchesne Counties enjoyed the evening bowling Entertainment was under the direction of Steven Fran Francom om district social worker work work- er for the Church MR FRANCOM who has moved to Vernal has been assigned to oversee 76 Indian students in the basin area who are living in foster homes during the school year Most of the students are from Arizona Assisting Mr Francom on a local level are aie State Indian placement representatives representatives representatives from the four stakes in the area THE Indian placement program is part of the Church Social Services program that also includes guidance counselors for adoptions and youth gui guidance gui gui- dance The program is planned to assist in providing adequate social needs of the young members of the church |
