T DeVed supervisor of adult education for the Uintah School District Welding and machine tool operations instruction by Court Anderson will begin Wednesday at 7 p pm p.m. m. m at Uintah High School Auto mechanics instructed by Charles Freeman will begin Thursday of next week at 7 p pm p.m. m. m at Uintah High EACH CLASS will meet in three hour sessions for 12 weeks Persons involved with the adult high school program may receive one half unit of credit for either course Registration will bo be held at the first class session Enrollment will be limited to 12 for each class THE WELDING and machine tool course will Include arc welding both AC and DC straight and reverse polarity polarity polar polar- ity the TIG torch its uses and advantages advantages in joining aluminum stainless etc oxy welding and cutting processes pro ceases operation of the shape cutting machine and to be familiar with machine machine ma ma- chine tool operations including lathe milling machine drill press etc Auto mechanics is offered those who want foundation skills and knowledge of general routine repair and maintenance of automobiles The course is divided into 12 major units which constitute the majority of everyday maintenance and repair items VOCATIONAL certificates are issued to each person completing either of these two courses |
