| Show f M L 11 J l kif Reapportionment discussed The Daggett County Commissioners met at the courthouse Wednesday afternoon of oC last week in Manila The main topic of discussion was the reapportionment of Daggett County for Cor the election of school board members Albert Neff chairman of oC the commissioners voted against reapportionment breaking the tie vote at the last meeting Carl Collett had previously voted for Cor reapportionment while Milton Beck had voted against it Commissioner Neff announced that the matter would be studied over the next six months to a year but he did not clarify whether it would be done by a private firm or by a local group of citizens A farewell luncheon was held at the Flaming Gorge Lodge Thursday afternoon in honer of Lois Brown and Janet Renick They each received a gift and a card signed by all aU the guests present The Brown family is moving to Alcova Wyoming and the Renick family Is moving to California Guests at the Vic home last weekend were Mrs parents Mr and Mrs Henry Van Galder GaIder her sisters Barbara and Becky and her brother Henry Jay all of Evansville Wisconsin Andy and Stephanie returned to Wisconsin with their grandparents and Barbara and Becky will remain In Dutch John for the summer THE TIIE DAGGETT County Lions Lion's Club met in Manilla Wednesday evening and Saturday afternoon for work sessions on the rodeo gran gran- The annual rodeo sponsored by the Lions Lion's Club will be held July 13 and 14 Mr and Mrs Larry Dudley spent several days visiting the Floyd Gale family The Dudleys are former residents of Dutch John and presently live in Montrose Colorado Tamara Dudley has joined the Youth Conservation Corps Carps Camp and will spend the summer here |
