A Johnson Ercel Alden Johnson 69 of Ballard died December 22 at home of a long ill ill- ness BORN DECEMBER 23 1902 in Vernal to Snellon and Genevieve Sprouse Johnson he married Anna Lemon on February 25 1936 in the Temple He was a farmer and an active member of the Church until he became ill which prohibited his activity He served a mission in the Central States He served as president of the 1st quorum quorum quor um urn of Elders in Uintah Stake also in the tho wards in which he lived FOLLOWING marr marriage age he made his home in Le Leota ta on Green River From there he moved to Pleasant Valley then to East My Myton ton along Duchesne River In 1949 he moved his family of four children to Ballard on Indian Bench where he has lived until his death Services were as follows Prayer at the Mortuary was by Clifford Eugen Johnson brother The funeral was held in Ballard Ballard Bal lard Ward Chapel conducted by Bishop Earl Murphy Song The Old Rugged Cross Cross' by Vir Virginia ginia Gifford and Gordon Johnson accompanied ac companied by Elaine Obit rry lory ry was by Bishop Murphy Prayer was wa by Golden Collins Song That Silver Haired Faired Daddy of Mine by Rod Maxfield and sister Mrs Lundberg accompanied by Phillis TRIBUTES By two son Lyle Johnson and Snellon Johnson Song Beyond The Sunset accompanied by Phillis sley sey of I Knew Him When by Rulon Anderson Song In the Garden by Virginia Gifford Clifford and Gordon Johnson accompanied by Elaine Pauline Cook played the prelude and postlude m music on the organ Closing prayer was by Reed Lomon Lemon PALLBEARERS WERE Wayne Johnson John son Gordon Johnson John Wabel Bernard Wood Donald Held Burial was in the Vernal Memorial Park Cemetery December 26 26 Wayne Johnson dedicated the grave Those from out of town who attended the funeral services were Mr and Mrs Buzz Krissman J J.
