Show School Credit Courses Planned Two Adult High School credit courses will begin in February according to Rhoda 1 Supervisor of Adult Education for the Uintah School District Health instructed by Coach Louis Mele will begin Thursday at 7 pm in Room 16 of Uintah high School The group will meet from 7 to each Thursday evening for 14 weeks and will earn one one- half unit of credit This is a required class and those who lack their health credit should take advantage of it at this time MONDAY February 8 Geo Geo- Geology logy instructed by Valda Has Mas Hassey sey will begin at 7 pm in Room 1 at the high school The class will meet from 7 to pm both Mondays and Wed Wed- Wednesdays for 14 weeks The geo geo- geo geology logy class is offered for one unit of elective credit and since e electives are difficult for to acquire it is hoped that all who are working toward their high school diploma will take advantage of this opportunity The Adult high School Corn Com I Program is offered to those who are not in school and andare andare are working toward a high school diploma Students who are under 22 years of age may register without tuition Those over 22 will pay a fee Additional information may be received by I calling Mrs DeVed at CANCER COMMITTEE The regular noon meeting of the Uintah County Cancer com com com- committee was held at tile the Diamond Hills Cafe Monday Mrs L R IL Miracle chairman presided with Mrs CP Peder Peder- son Dr Tyrrell R Seager lie- lie len Stevens Mrs Alta AIta Rust Mrs C R Henderson and Mrs Ralph Ashton present Plans Pians were made for the t h e showing of one or possibly two films with Dr S Seager ager narrating to be held on Monday Feb 22 Notices will be sent to all or in the area concern concern- concernIng ing this event Cancer control will be the subject of tilt the films |
