uintah receives full accreditation from secondary school association principal aln in F aard re r bently woid wood from wll wil tt I 1 urn irn N lanil chairman Cha ati irmon of if the rt st ato north west aad Col committee that blah haq hen nelv approved for or till I 1 1 4 1055 school year T the I 1 ie hete commend cd ed mr ov ovard ard th ill uintah ty tile irli ool 1 I at rit t board of education and the citizens ill of 0 bounty forelle for alic edfors that have brn been made to keep high it t tit n uintah high school the committee particularly commended high for the work that li is being duilo doile on the student council and also for the effort on the tile part of the teachers to understand the work of the other departments under the direction of faculty advisor cooper and president elinor king one of the many outstanding things which has been done by the uintah student council Is to make a study of all school organizations in order to determine their usefulness to the students have required that all organizations have definite objective and have written a suitable constitution the student officers program has been strengthened and for the first time the tile student officers meet in a class so that they are better able to perform their duties as officers A definite program has been underway Uintah at high school for the past few years to acquaint teachers with each others departments at midyear mid year institute last year teachers visited each others departments and explained the programs which were being carried forward inez cooper teacher of english and drama the first semester this year had an interesting unit for students who went into the various departments and interviewed ter viewed teachers on their objectives jec tives and observed the work which was going on initiated by english teachers a definite program was effected through workshop in faculty meetings to correlate students work in all areas of the school in an effort to improve their communication skills
