vernal truckers take 4 H group to denver with a special interest in eni en cou raging 4 11 and members of o f uintah county in animal project work grant southam and victor wilkins local truckers took a group of boys aud girls to the denver livestock show the group left january 17 spent one and a half hall days at ane show a halfday going through the denver benver museum and park and returned home late january 20 bie the 4 11 club members making the trip earned the privilege last fall by winning a judging contest to determine a team to re represent uintah county at the utah state fair 4 11 members were earl moon billy murray jensen jean mcconkle and ana donna powell maeser representatives from the chapters apters were tom wardell george merkley douglas haff hall and bob murray these junior stockmen stoc kmen were very interested in the bigness of the show in most departments and the general excellence throughout in behalf of the meat animal clubs marvin smith and virtus mcconkle club leaders accompanying the party have expressed their air thanks to mr southam and mr eakins they expressed their contribution as deture ge ture of good fellowship which en ea cou rages boys and girls to strive for the top rather than be content with the lesser values sixteen persons were in the barty party and traveled in three can cars to denver
