Show charles and anderson erson I 1 honored at funeral rites funeral rites were conduct ed for fo charles rCharles andrew anderson andersan 67 retired farmer and stockman tt wednesday it the vernal third ward chapel mr anderson d died led sunday morning at his home hom e after a year years ill ness dess principal speaker speakers at the services service I 1 were pres jesse A haw haws 4 and nd harmon with rich ard D rust counselor in the third ward bishopric official ing pra prayer yer at the home wai was offer ofer ed by fred anderson 1 nephew of the deceased A at i t the he services invocation was given by lavell manwaring oh my father was sung by a double male quartet from naples a accompanied I 1 compa com panted nied by marquita G good 0 rich and verdin goodrich a grandson of mr anderson and peggy chivers sang whispering hope ope accompanied by ada openshaw I 1 following the second speaker orlo goodrich sang one fleet 1 ing hour accompanied by miss goodrich remarks were given by mr rust and the closing I 1 song was by mrs lawrence luck the old rugged cross accompanied by mrs armond eaton bened benediction I 1 action was offered by merrill anderson a dephew dedication of the grave was by a brother leslie anderson 1 pallbearers Pall bearers were tour four grandsons gary mccarrell verdin goodrich duane anderson and dallis goodrich and two nephews glade anderson and jay anderson burial was in the vernal memorial park cemetery under direction of the vernal mor biary mr anderson was born march 14 1883 at mill creek a son of swen and elizabeth andersen anderson I 1 he came to ashley valley june 6 1888 with his parents pa he worked at his fathers sawmill until 1893 and since then had been a farmer and stockman he married anna may casper dec 26 1904 he was a member of the church of jes jesus us christ of latter day saints residing in third ward at the time of his death survivors include his widow of vernal three sons and three daughters rulon feed reed and grant anderson mrs delroy delray goodrich mrs thelbert mccarrell and mrs oral goodrich all of vernal he reared a granddaughter ladonna jacobson from infancy surviving also are 18 grandchildren d two great grandchild ren four brothers and one sister vern fred and leslie anderson all of vernal lawrence anderson of bell calif pearl williams of vernal attending the rites from out of town were mr and mrs MM grant casper of sandy mr and mrs william casper of roosevelt mr and mrs warren casper and daughter and mrs stan ger bills III s of bluffdale Bluff dale mr and mrs acel bingham and mrs marilyn schooley of salt lake city mr and mrs lawrence anderson of los angeles calif mr and mrs erastus christensen Chrls of redman mr and mrs bill phillips of grand junction beatrice dennis and lydia nelson of myton and jessie williams of american fork mr and mrs C laurence fox are in the northwest and canada they will return to their vernal residence sunday after a two weeks jaunt mrs grace sweet of erie pa w was as a vernal visitor last weekend attending the marriage of her son william F sweet to miss gloria johnson she was a guest at the home of the brides parents mr and mrs abir aze r johnson mr and mrs tenney johnston and family left for a two week vacation recently the family left via rock springs wyo and will visit points on north |
