Show BOY SCOUTS Scout Meet Tonight Regular monthly business meeting of the Bingham District Boy Scout Council is scheduled to be held tonight, Friday, August Aug-ust 12 at 8 p.m. at the Civic Center Cen-ter according to Boyd J. Nerdin, council secretary. All scouters and members are urged to attend. at-tend. Dr. Richard's Day Set For Sunday, August 14 Annual Dr. Richard's Day, Bingham district's summer swimming swim-ming meet and court of honor, is slated to be held Sunday, August Aug-ust 14 at Tracy Wigwam in Mill Creek canyon. If strike is not over it will start at 3 p.m., if over it will begin at 4 p.m. All scouts competing are requested to be there one-half before starting time. Hamburgers and watermelon water-melon will be served under direction di-rection of the Bingham Volunteer Volun-teer Fire Department, with funds furnished by the Bingham District Dis-trict Activity Fund. The public is cordially invited to attend. The swimming meet will consist con-sist of the following events: Boy Scout 25 yard free style, Explorer Explor-er 50 yard free style, Age 17 or over 100 yawl free style, Boy Scout 25 yard back stroke, Explorer Ex-plorer 50 yard back stroke, Age 17 or over 100 yard back stroke, Boy Scout 25 yard side stroke; 11 -year olds only, length of pool; Explorer 100 yard free style relay, re-lay, 4 man; Boy Scout 100 yard free style relay, 4 man; Explorer diving, front, back and choice; Boy Scout diving, front, back and choice; 17 or over diving, front, back and choice. Boy Scouts are from age 11 to 13, and Explorers are from age 14 to 16. Each scout limited to two events plus relay and diving. A.A.U. rules and points will apply. ap-ply. o |
