sesquicentennial celebration at vernal july esth and witnessed the wonder wonderful tu parade the historical pageant and the patriotic program were more than satisfied with the entertainment people from all part parts ot at the basin declared the pageant depicting the making of at the nation and the struggles to formulate an american independence to be the boat best thing they had evier er seen and complimented the committee for or heir their taste aid and unselfish efforts to make the production a successful one the pageant alone required tiie tas use of costumes which ere brought in from aalt lake city this production waa was cor one ot at the best beat costumed pageants eer eler put on in the state possibly no other celebration has ever been put on in the basin where there vae brought into play so many every community cou in the he vicinity ot at vernal took an active part in the affair it wand be impossible to mention all the names ot of those who helped and it would be a great injustice to run a parti I 1 list the parade the parade was well gotten up and every part showed considerable care and pride some of the wards spen many weeks preparing and planning their float
