| Show 6 county women join leaders at annual six uintah county ladies left vernal early monday mor ning nang to join more than volunteer women leaders from throughout the state who cur bently are attending the annual leadership school for women the popular school Is held on the campus of utah state university at logan and is sponsored by the extension services of U S U miss thel ma huber supervisor exten slon sion home economics program at the university is gen eral chairman of the program which started monday even ing and which will conclude thursday evening uintah county women at tending the gathering include mrs naomi peterson mrs elaine henderson enderson II mrs glen glan da landon md mrs fern col lett all of vernal and mrs ethel taylor and mrs ora swain of lapoint these local leaders were selected by county extension service workers on the basis of their leadership and ability and performance at the school they will receive mu inspiration from assoria tion with other leaders from all areas of the state as a well as much valuable information to assist them in their local leadership responsibilities subjects to receive special attention by those in attend ance this year include help ing youth develop their po foods and fam ily fly nutrition home nursing civil defense fam ily fly clothing and lome home management featured guest of the worn wom en ell a leadership school this year Is funice heywood director of homi economics pro grams federal extension service WaR washington hington D C she will moderate a panel on the responsibility of the family church community and school to help youth develop their potentials the state pi inning commit tee tor for the leadership school includes dr don C carter head department of family living and child develop ment melba christen s sen ell salt lake county local leader mrs sterling back provo and mrs eve S ashton vernal board of trustees mrs florence at al tell len richmond state president farm bureau women 9 organization and dr ellvert 11 II blimes logan state dent PTA organizations in uintah county desiring to receive reports of the school from the local leaders in attendance are invited to contact the local extension office says dill bill farnsworth uintah C county 0 anty agent |
