enough students for four first grades grade but when school has started in the past there have been enough new students moving into the area and who take kindergarten to make another fire grade class A TEACHER and a class room is available it if the extra first grade class is needed the superintendent assured it will be necessary to house one ath grade of central school in ashley valley jr high reported in the bus driving and school lunch departments currently there are 22 bus drivers and 31 school lunch workers preschool pre school testing for kindergarten der garten and first grades has been completed children wishing to start kindergarten who are five years old and prospective first graders who are six years old between august 31 and december 31 are required to take preschool tests out of 64 14 tested 37 showed sufficient mental maturity for or school and the other 27 will wait for the next school year UINTAH SCHOOL district will be lead by the same administrative staff as last year an orientation and preliminary planning meeting W wasl held august 23 25 friday will be business education day when vernal chamber of commerce and the school district will co host an informal reception buffet luncheon and program for new teaching personnel and their partners and chamber members and their part ners at the high school from 8 to 10 pm p m during friday afternoon starting at 3
