Show died mr lyman johnson sweet died saturday july at about 7 a m of heart failure and liver complaint lie ile had been ill for sometime and just recently hia wife and family have felt considerably worried or ried saturday morning the old gentleman walked out in the orchard and it was eoon noticed t that hat lie he did not return tire mrs went to look for him and found him lying under a tree life was extinct assistance was summoned but he be tied had answered the last lait call mr swett was born in errold cass case county new hampshire september 1834 his hia parents joined the church of jesus christ of latter day saints in 1832 hence mr sweet was one of the very oldest members of the church lie ile remembered the prophet joseph well in 1852 he came to utah and soon went to worked in the mines until 1869 when he returned to utah in 1877 ile he married elizabeth langston and lived in payson until 1902 when with his hia family he moved to vernal ile he was the father of thirteen children seven of whom survive him mr swett was a very quiet man and few people in uintah county knew him as aa he seldom went away f from rom home the funeral was held monday at 2 p m with bishop john N davis davia in charge of the services the interment took place at tho the rock point cemetery |
