Lark Lions club held their re- gular business meeting Monday night, September 8. District Governor Gov-ernor Alton Melville of Mill Creek was a special guest. Regular Regu-lar business was taken up after which a delicious dinner was served ser-ved to all. It was announced that I the annual turkey shoot will be I held on Sunday, September 28 at .the Butterfield Gun Club traps. 'Turkeys, hams and bacon will be given away s prizes. The ! price to shoot has not yet been decided on, announced Ron Whiting, Whit-ing, secretary-treasurer, j Ann Christie of Butterfield canyon had as guest on Friday, Sept. 5 Audrey Ann Sumnicht of Copperton. Mrs. Alta Boyd was hostess to her bridge club on Tuesday evening, ev-ening, Sept. 2. Dessert was served serv-ed to all after which bridge was played. Prizes were awarded to Mrs. Betty Gillam, first; Mrs. Bessie Randall, bingo, and Mrs. Jo Coffey, consolation. Others present were Mrs. Virginia Wells, Mrs. Mary Jo Rubright, Mrs. Margaret DuBois, and Mrs. Elaine Brownson. Mrs. Coffey will entertain the cluib at her home on the first Tuesday of next month. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Bigler entertained en-tertained at their home on Sunday, Sun-day, Sept. 7 for Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hicken, Miss Margaret Murdock, and Mrs. Jane Hilton, all of Heber and Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Earl of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Peterson left yesterday Sept. 11 for St. Paul, Minn., after visiting here for the past six weeks with Mrs. Peterson's parents, Mr.; and Mrs. Earl Bigler.
