Stoker and family Were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elmo El-mo Nelson of Bingham Sunday. Tuesday visitors at the Ray Cowdell home were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cowdell of Riverton and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Calderwood and son Robbie of Provo. A birthday dinner was given Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Cheever in honor of Robert Peterson of Salt Lake City and Jay Cheever of Granger in celebration of their birthday anniversaries. Also present were Mrs. Peterson and son, Mr. Peterson's Pe-terson's mother of Lark and Mrs. Cheever and sons. Copperton and Lark Women's Society of Christian Service will meet at the home of Mrs. J. F. Barkle of Copperton on Tuesday, January 15th. All members are invited to attend. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Ray and family were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Forman and sons of Sandy Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Davis and sons, Kenneth and Tommy of Midvale and Mrs. Gladys O'-Conner O'-Conner of Salt Lake City were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Fike and family. Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Ray and family were Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Forman and sons of Sandy. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Olsen spent Saturday visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Moroni Olsen and Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Yancey of Pleasant Grove. Sherry Lancaster and Joyce Olsen spent an enjoyable week end visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Mousley and daughter, Michael Kay, of Riverton. Mr. and Mrs, J. D. Stoddard received word from their son, Boyd, that when he returned to his base after spending Christmas Christ-mas leave with his family, he learned he had received a promotion pro-motion to corporal. At present he is stationed with the air force at Topeka, Kans. The daughter born to Fireman 3c and Mrs. L. Clinton Coleman at Chicago, 111., will celebrate her birthday January 7. Happy grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Coleman of Copperton. |
