Show frlNTS FOR Save On Heating Costs You may be able to trim your Federal Income Tax if you upgrade your existing boiler or furnace by replacing re-placing the old oil burner with a new high-efficiency gas burner. And you can save on heating bills, too. That tax reduction, explained ex-plained in a new booklet, "How to Make Natural Gas Price Deregulation Work for You," is the 15 percent "Residential Energy Credit" available to homeowners who make such energy-wise moves. The booklet also shows how the cost of your conversion can be more than recovered by the fuel cost savings from improved combustion efficiency, and by the currently lower price of natural gas. Even after gas price deregulation, according ac-cording to the booklet, natural gas can still be expected ex-pected to maintain a 20 to 25 percent price advantage over oil despite future increases in-creases in all fuel costs. The booklet is published pub-lished by Mideo International, Interna-tional, a Chicago manufacturer manufac-turer of residential oil-to-gas conversion burners. |
