Hall 50 who is presently a Third District Court judge JUDGE HALL was named to the Supreme Court to replace Chief Justice F F. Henri Henroid who retired effective January 1 1 The retirement made Justice Ellett the new chief justice Judge Hall has been a Third Judicial District Judge since 1969 when the Legislature created an additional judgeship Prior to that he served 11 years as as' as Tooele County attorney A native of Vernal the new Supreme Court justice has resided in Tooele for 28 years He graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in psychology and received a law degree from the same sc school in 1951 He lie has served as town attorney attorney at at- torney for Wendover and Stockton and city attorney for Grantsville as well as Tooele County attorney A PAST president of the Utah Association of Counties and the Utah Prosecutors Association Judge Hall served on the Presidents President's National Advisory Council to the Office of Economic Opportunity Also appointed to the Third District Court is Davis K K Winder 44 a Salt Lake City lawyer Joseph E E. E Jackson 41 Cedar City attorney was appointed appointed appointed ap ap- ap- ap pointed to the Fourth District Juvenile Court Judge Winder was appointed to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Third District Judge Stewart M.
