Show explanation of the new bounty law in the year of 1925 a new bounty law was enacted by tile the state legislature which law la 14 not generally understood ly by the public for that reason tho the following explanation section bounties shall bo be paid tor for the destruction 0 of tile the following designated animals to wit Aloun mountain tain lion ilon or cougar 16 15 grey black or timber wolf 15 bear 10 for each coyote 0 and tor for each lynx or bobcat 3 any person who desires to obtain the bounties provided for in section shall within 60 days of the date of killing such animals present to tile the county clerk of at tho the county in which the animals wore were killed the entire hide or pelt ot of such animal with at least three full feet attached in such a marketable condition as to be sa leable and in such state of preservation as aa to enable the county clerk to identify such ant animals when the hides of the foregoing animals are presented to the clerk the person presenting the samo same are required to sign affidavits tr transferring all title and right in the same to to tile the state of utah also that they were caught within the county in which they were presented tor for obtaining bounty and that they were caught athin 60 days prior to tile the signing of the affidavit it is very necessary that tho the hides be well dried and taken care of and that they have at least three thred full feet attached it does not make any difference how low young or how old the animal is or whether the fur la Is prime or not as long as the hide has been given proper care coyotes and bobcats should be case cased d and have three feet attached 0 |
