Show THE TEE annual nr; :tin& A::::ia-ticnJWi- il Cf'ths Utah Dairyncns ha Hold at jha Logan Tafcernacb Friday, March 4th, T " - 1E03, .. - The annual meeting of the Utah Dairymens Association will be - held in Logan on the 4th of March, All previous meetings have 1S9$.been held in Salt, Lake City and only a fair measure of success has been attained in reaching either the creamerymen or the milk producers. This year it was thought best to take the Association to the people, and Cache Co. being the oldest dairy county', was selected. Our aim in arranging for this -meeting has been to get and give information along the dairy line to the milk producer and also to the milk handlers and dairy manu facturers, and to this end we have The arranged our programme, such are as topics to be presented ct ter benefit all Trilibrof-tlrredairymen; they mean dollars and cents. All of "those on the prq gramme have promised to he present and each man has attained marked suedhss along the lines of work which he will discuss. All of those who are interested in producing milk should be present, especially those near at hand. With the growth of the dairy business and the resulting increased competition, only, those who become close students of their callconduct-th- e ings - are- - going business with, profit; come and hear those who have succeeded -- -- t -- glvelhelrexperlen uoleffwiththem.Fortbe .V m same reason as given above, all who are Interested in the manufacturing of dairy products should embrace every opportunity to learn more of their businesa1 With the increased competition it willbetKe bssTonly, that will sell at the top of the market, and be who cannot make the best, and 4o the best, in factory work, will b& courting naught but failure. I believe alb factory op erators should be alive to. this proposition; some points which appear to be very pertinent to present conditions will be presented at this meeting. ' with a large num-ber.I have talked people who have visited the of Agricultural College and without exception they have expressed great jBUrprise at tbe thoroughness of the equipment and thejgcilities offered; it was away beyond what they .expected; their visit paid them well. Large numbers' send their sons and daughters to the agricultural College every year; this is well. And if it is good for them to spend years at this institution, it will pay th8 farmers well to spend a few days and learn exactly what the college has to offer. Moreover, the Farmers Institute and dairy meetings, aim, in a measure, to do for the farmer what the college aims Jo do forLis family. And ought not the farmers to be just as anxious that be should himself be ar will posted upon all lines relating to his calling as his sons and, daughters should be for the calling they may select? If he is not, how can he do otherwise then fall behind in the rapid for -ward' movement t)f jworld?
