Mrs. Yengich has been in poor health this fall. Mrs. Ruby Watson and child-ren spent the week end with her mother, Mrs. Rose Yengich. Ro-bert Beck and John King are members of the crew. The boys are anxiously looking forward to spending Christmas at home. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Keysaw and son Glenn spent Tuesday I visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Dan-- j iel Shea of Bingham. Mrs. Ted Arriz, Mrs. Nick Yengich and Ira Moss attended a meeting at Jordan high school recfitly. The meetinc was a dis-- 1 cussion on adult education and piujttis lo be ottered to the par-ents this year. Mrs. Milka Smilanich and Mike and Joe Loverich attended the funeral services of Mike Bosar-ieh held in Salt Lake City last Friday. Interment was in Mt. COMMUNITY HOUSE The Wasatch Academy Gospel team of ML Pleasant were sup-per guests and directors of a fine worship service last Sunday ev-ening at the Community House. Accompanying the team were Supt. Ralph S. Gunn and Miss Julie Quinanes, new instructor of Spanish at Wasatch Academy. She has just recently joined the faculty and came from Puerto Rico. Members of the team were: Ethel Vanderwagon of Luni, N. Mex., Don Patterson of Kayenta, Ariz., Bruce Robertson of Rock Springs, Wyo., Clarice Gunn of Mt, Pleasant, and Lorraine Hood of Ignacio, Colo. Miss Maurine Reager, newly-appointe- d deaconess at First Methodist Church. Salt Lake City, spent Monday visiting ac-tivities at the Community House Miss Reager's home is in Denver. Friday evening (tonight) the Community House will be the scene of spooks and their guests. All Highland Boy children, youth and adults are invited. The ev-ening will be spent in a spook alley and in the gym where a mystery show and comedy show will be given. Also stories, gam-es and refreshments. LARK NEWS Joy Seal 001J1 Mrs. Jessie Nit-lse- and child-ren and Mr. and Mis. James Lof-gra- n and Pamela spent Sunday, October 26th visiting in Mona with Mr. and Mrs. David Nielsen and family. Lark Lions club held their re-gular meeting on Monday, Octo-ber 27. Business was discussed after which a delicious dinner was served. In the near future, around December 13. the club will help sponsor a drive in be-half of the Red Cross blood do nations, it was announced. The club hopes it will be as success-ful or a little bit more, as the drive held in June. Lets all get out and support the Lions club in December. Mrs. June Draper of Riverton was week end guest of Mrs. Vir-ginia Seal and Joy. Butterfield Gun Club will hold their annual Turkey Shoot on Sunday, November 16th, it was announced this week. Mr. and Mrs. James Reed left Thursday, October 23 on a weeks business trip to Emmett, Idaho. Mrs". Shirley NeiLson and sons, Reed and Leslie of Midvale, spent the past week with her sister Sonja. Mrs. Rita Rostrun will be hos-tess to the 509 club at her home on Monday, November 3rd. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sweat are visiting with relatives and friends in California. The Lark Lions club are pro-viding a Halloween party on Fri-day night, October 31- - (tonight" at the Lark school for all ages. Entertainment for children up to and including the fourth grade will be from 6 to 9 p.m. From S p.m. to midnight will be enter-tainment for fifth grade and up including high school. At 7 p.m. a western movie will be shown and at 10:30 p.m. a Frankenstein show. Lots of fun is in store for all youngsters attending. There will be candy and all kinds of treats. Purpose of the party is to keep children off the streets, out of mischief and from begging. ALDON ANMKON .
