the next two weeks we approach 0 fi om the west across the broad esplanade buneata which is the machinery room containing four en enines engines ines an and avii dynamos anios with a capacity of two interest in these details of our anxiety to cross tile the threshold of the building itself we re hasten up the broad flight of stone steps leading to the south west entrance tile the massive doors have polis polished lied plate glass in the tran tan sonis and upper panels panel and graceful 0 grills rills in the form or beehives on the lower pa panels nels the b hardware here as in the entire recorders room it is homelike in in its appointments a has eight silver clia chandeliers and a good old fashioned homemade home made carpet upon the floor three semicircular windows north hung with rare silk curtains give us a nearer glimpse of the splendid ceiling of the largo large northeast room on the lower floor previously described and liero here we find the proverb contradicted it is
