Lehl correspondence Tribune, Dec, 13: Mrs. Mary Cox Goodwin, after a long Illness, passed qulotly away this morning at 7 o'clock. She was tho wlfo of tho Into Isanc Goodwin. Deceased was born In Brighton, England, Eng-land, on August 8, 1827, nnd in 1852 emigrated to tho United States. Sho wns among tho early emigrants who came to Utah nnd traveled on through to California. Hero sho mot nnd married mar-ried Isaac Goodwin of New Hartford, Conn., one of tho company of emigrants, emi-grants, who sailed around Cnpo Horn In the ship Brooklyn. Mr. Goodwin hud lost his wife while on tho voyngo and burled her on ono of tho Islands nf Juan Ferdandez in tho Paclflo . ocean, being left with a family ofC'sbveu children, chil-dren, four boys nnd throo-glrls, of whom four are now living. After living liv-ing soveral yoare lo OAllrorfTla thoy emigrated to Utnh in theyear 1857. Living at St. Goorgo a short time, nnd Qually settling In Lehl, whoro the husband and father died April 25,1877, nged 08 yoars.
