Show by the name of TJte Perkins, and his wife, passed through town the other day, enroute for the Muddy Valley. They are both over 80 years of age. They did not honor our sanctum with their presence and we did not know they were in town until after they were out again. There is considerable sickness in town just now. In our last issue we inadvert ently omitted the account of the rcces between Snow and Jolly, at Washington, which . came off, as announced. The first time they run it was a tie and the second time Snow was in head at the end but two of the Judges went against Snow and said it was a tie..
