Show Big Money Off Of Alfalfa hed It is estimated that the farmers farm-ers in Millard count' and Vicinity Vicin-ity who have gone in for alfalfa seed raising will be paid this year in the neighborhood of $150,000 for their, seed. While many of the farmers in that section of the state have gone in for seed raising in the past two or three fears is said that many more will go into this business within the next year. Bishop Ashbey, of Leamington, Leaming-ton, raised seed that brought him an average of $150 per acre and it is believed that this is the record. -Q. M, Hickman of Abraham, is believed to be the next maii. From thirty acres of ground he cleared $1,000, an average of $133 per acre, J. C. Holley of , Oasis on seventy acres cleared $7,000, an average of $100 per acre. Other farmers farm-ers in this district did equally as well.
