Young, Salt Lake railroad man, wiio enlisted enlist-ed in the marine corps soon after j war was declared, .has been added to the rosier of Utahns who have given their lives to the nation. Mr. Young has been killed in action hi the Sois'sons-Rheims salient . fighting. This news was received from the war department last night by the young man's mother, Mrs. Margaret Young, 215 North Fifth West street. No details further than that Mr. Young died on the field of honor were given. Born at Tark City, Utah, Mr. Young came to Salt Lake with his family fifteen years ago. He resided here until his enlistment in the nn- rine corps, June 4, 1917. Previous to donning the uniform he was on employee of the Denver & Ro Grande .railroad shops. Mr. Young was 24 years old.
