Show DISTRICT COURT ADJOURNS FOR THE TERM District court, after alxrut two weeks term, adjourned March 28th. Considerable civil matters were disposed dis-posed of, all criminal ?asos being postponed for the term, Mrs. Adaline Arrasmith of Fruit-laud Fruit-laud was granted a divorce from Howard Arasmith. The plaintiff was given custody of tnc j:;hior children, the defendent being granted the right to visit the' children at all times. The pfcilnitiff was allowed ?50.00 attorney's fee, with the matter mat-ter of alimony left for future developments. devel-opments. Rulou J. Larseu waa attorney at-torney for plaintiff. In the case of the State of Utah against Charliei MarJalaky, the defendent de-fendent did not show up and could not be : found. The court declared the bond of Marialaky forfeited, unless un-less future developments would fchow that the defendant had good and sufficient reasons for b;ing absent. ab-sent. Marialaky gave a bond of ?2.000 In cash for his appearance. He was to be tried for the taking of some pure bred bucks from Monroe Giles of Hanr.a. R. G. Porter represented rep-resented defendant, Pope and Burgess Bur-gess the stale. In the ca?e cf Thomas Jones et al fT, S. Ross et al, several days re consumed in this case with an array cf witnesses from both sides. This suit developed from the contention conten-tion of some of, the water users on lower and upper Anlslope creek over their respective lights to water in said creek. It was finally stipulated stipu-lated by both sides, and conjured In by the court, that a water commls-s-Joner shcud be appointed to look in to the . rights of all parties, and when eitch report is filed by the commissioner, com-missioner, the court will further consider con-sider (he matter and endeavor to adjudicate ad-judicate the water rights as between the several contestants.
