Pecpla v.-ho have lived hers through-all through-all the ups and clowns M mall ser-ico ser-ico i::to this country no doubt favor government operation, as that has . proven more- eatisfactcry than by private contract. The mail, including includ-ing parcel po.st, has reached encr-m-ous proportions, and the government govern-ment is better financed to take care of r..s than a private contractor. The only question in signing petition fcr contiued operation, would it preju-c'iioo preju-c'iioo our case in the event we should for any reason wish to make a change to some other point? The rrc-'babilitks are that the government would not go to the expense of building build-ing a garage at some ether point to take car-o of the mail. Taking the viewpoint from the present conditions we favor government govern-ment operation, but future developments develop-ments might be such th.v. we woal.I not be "unalterably opposed to any change to a private contractor . |
