Elser, general auditor of the Mutual Creamery Company and Homer A. Collins, general manager of the Mutual Mu-tual Creamery, were in Djachesne Saturday, Sat-urday, inspecting the creamery here. W. A. Paxton, O. C. Lockhart and John P. Madsen went hunting ducks-Saturday ducks-Saturday on Green river. Their luck was not any too good as they returned return-ed without a duck. o Mrs, Guy Hollenbeck und Floyd Case of Mt. Emmons were appointed Jury commissioners for the coming year by Judge Worthen. They will meet the first of the year and select the names of the Jurors for the en suing year. o Just received a letter from Tom Sweatman, who with his family has been located at Pampa, .Texas, for some time. Mr. Sweatman requested us to remember him to his old friends in these parts. He also stated that he with his family were anticipating a trip to Duchesne the coming summer. o Dr. and Mrs. Bishop made a rush trip to Salt Lake City, Friday." Douglas Doug-las Smith accompanied them. To Doug the trip was a success as it was his first trip to the Hlg city. For details it Is well to say that Doug enjoyed the elevators and the smoke of Salt Lake. o What we would call a family dinner was given at the home of Mr, and Mrs. A. M. Murdoik on Christmas day, with the following partaking of the sumptions meal: the family of Victor Duke. Wells Murdock, Grant M unlock, Robert Ingersol and also Fred Iluddy. o Mr. and Mrs, Donald Bench entertained enter-tained at a Sunday night supper Mr. and -Mrs. Lawrence Kelson, .Mr. and Mrs. Dean Powell, Mr. and Mrs. Iji-Vell Iji-Vell Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. C. Wimmer, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Parr, and Mr. and Mrs, Ed. Hart. The; rest of the evening was spent in playing play-ing "500". Mrs. James Dnlgleis won ladles first prize and Fred Johnson won the gents prize. Mrs. W&mmer won the free for all. The .self-constituted Westeuders, consisting con-sisting of Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Wins-low, Wins-low, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Stephenson, .Mr. and Mrs. Wilder Fairbanks nnd Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Barton, held parlies par-lies on December 20 and 2S. On the Iecember 2i)th they met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wilder Fairbanks and on December 23th they met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Barton. Bar-ton. 500 was the diversion ou both of these evenings. At the Fairbanks party Mrs. Barton won Ladies prize and L. C. Winslow, gents prize. Mrs. Winslow won consolation.
