T Pow Powell ll one of the first settlers settlers settlers set set- in Duchesne passed away at Salt Lake Wednesday May Iu 7 1 at 5 30 p. p m. m Mr Powell had been in bad health the past four years He went through an operation about three yam ars ago and for a time he lee seemed to get better Two years eurs ago Mr Ir and Mrs Powell Pow Pow- Pow Powell Powen ell en went to Ih live lire with their son Lee at nt 1 Murray and last Au August Mr Powell was struck with an m automobile and the injuries he lie sustained ho he 10 never neer entirely entirely entirely en en- overcame About two weeks before before before be be- fore his death he became unable to help himself and was confined to his bed until his death Mr Powell was CO i 0 years of age at dea death tho He Heas was vas not ol old In years but much ol older er in the amount of ot ener energy expended which ma may have ha brought him to his grave several years ears sooner sooner sooner soon soon- er than thun a n man of less energy energy Mir Powell was born in St. St Joseph Nevada and left there with his parents par par- eats Mir and Mrs William J J.
