W J. J Bond J. J P. P Madsen Chester Lyman of the Duchesne club and John Anderson of the Heber club forming a welcoming delegation briefly addressed the women on the merits of forming the organization Mr Bond said if the wives could secure regular attendance of their husbands to the Lion meetings the auxiliary would be worthwhile of they did nothing else Lauded For Support Mr Lyman cited the support given the American Legion by its women's auxiliary as an example of how much good the Lady Lions could accomplish Mr Madsen said no man could amount to much without the support support support sup sup- port and encouragement of his wife and if organized the wives of the Lions might be the spur to force the men to greater Mr Anderson was delighted he said to see the Duchesne women willing to lend their services in support of their husbands and expressed ex ex- expressed pressed the hope that the Heber women would organize a similar unit It was decided that the auxiliary would meet twice a month on the same nights as the Lions club Officers named were Mrs Roy A. A Jacoby secretary A motion was passed to allow the executive officers to outline a program of procedure and ob oh- objectives objectives to be presented to the membership at the next meeting for their approval Special Guests Special guests at the meeting were Mrs Jess Hiatt wife of Lion District Governor and Mrs Irs R. R C.
