Show Friday, April UTAH UINTAH BASIN RECORD, DUCHESNE, 21, 1939 Quarterly Conference Features Priesthood PAIR ENTER COUNTY NATIVE OF UTAH DIES IN JAIL ON LOS ANGELES THEFT CHARGES Mrs. Calista McKendrick Wallis, native of Ogden and for many years a resident of Salt Lake City, died suddenly Sunday at 9 a. m. at her home in Los Angeles of a heart attack, according to word received by Salt Lake City relatives. She was the wife of Robert H. Wallis, Los Angeles attorney, who practiced law in Duchesne several years ago. Mrs. Wallis was born in Ogden a daughter of Wilford M. and Lydia W. McKendrick, and attended the old Weber academy at Ogden. She resided in Salt Lake City for many years prior to moving to Los Angeles 10 years ago. She was a member of the L. D. S. church.
