L D D. D S S. S stake A A. A M M. Murdock whom he ic succeeded as bishop He served in this capacity for seventeen years After the stake divided into the Roosevelt and Duchesne stakes Mr Billings was named first counselor of the Duchesne stake and later president of the high council In 1917 he was elected elected elected elect elect- ed to the state legislature as representative representative representative of Duchesne county on the Democratic ticket serving one term In 1936 he be was elected state senator for Duchesne and Uintah counties and during the recent session session session ses ses- sion served as chairman of the senate sifting committee Mr I Billings has also served on the Duchesne county board of commissioners commissioners commissioners com com- missioners on the Duchesne city council and as mayor of Duc Du Duchesne esne Following the dinner a reception and dance were held at the L L. L D. D S.
