washer's drain board A scalding apparatus provides for emersion of the washed dishes in boiling water for or five minutes if necessary This should insure clean dishes and will mean much toward keeping camp to the forest boundary fence between Yellowstone canyon and Lake Lale Fork canyon a distance of three miles is at the present presen one of the most tortuous and uneven uneven uneven un un- even roads in the country The Forest men have started construction construction construction con con- of a new road from the Forest fence to the camp and plan to eliminate most of the turns Mr Warthen camp superintendent dent stated that the road would probably be not more than five per cent with only a few curves and no switch s This last fact is clearly evident when one stops to consider thi that the road from camp to the f fence nce will be reduced to two thirds of its present length The two 1 miles of road should be finished in about three weeks barring barring barring bar bar- ring difficulties and is part of the winter project that calls for an extension of the road seven miles up the river to the Swift S Creek territory The road from F 37 to Home is a to travel due to innumerable patches of loose rocks One or two automobiles have already received broken springs and the wear and tear on the tires Ures is great It is expected that several men will be detailed to remove these patches
