Kervln was tho hostess of a prettily-appointed violet luncheon Thursday afternoon at tho Emery-Holmes. Emery-Holmes. Tall vases of violets an J plumosa were used for the decorations, decora-tions, the favors being clusters of tin fragrant flowers. Tho placo cards were hand decorated in violets. Fourteen Four-teen guests were bidden. Invitations have been issued by the class of '97 of tho university for a junior promenade to bo given in ths new gymnasium on tho evening ol February 9.
