Show ADDITIONAL SOCIAL The marringo of Miss Lotta Dlanche Cherry, daughter of Judge and Mrs. A. N. Cherry, and Mr. Nesbltt Percy Browne occurred on Thursday evening, even-ing, Bishop Spalding of the Episcopal church officiating. Tho church was artistically and profusely decorated with flowers and evergreens. Miss Jessie Homo was maid of honor and Frank Lawrence best man. Tho ushers ush-ers were Mark B. Clark, Howard Cherry, Harold Browne and Robert Lawrence, and the flower girls, Misses Barbara Vorse and Teresa Browne. Tho appointments for tho function wero In the best of tasto and carried out with precision. A reception for the bridal party and families was held at tho homo of tho bride. Judgo and Mrs. Cherry, assisted as-sisted by the sisters of tho bride, Mrs. P. J. Carmeau and Mrs. A. J. Vorse, received the guests. The Misses Tes-slo, Tes-slo, Florence and Edith Godbo and Marjory Brooks served In the dining room. Mr. and Mrs. Browne' left for Denver and other eastern points. On their return they will bo at tho Fifth East hotel for tho summer. Miss Cherry was ono of the ablest teachers in the Lafayette school, ond her many young friends extend their felicitations. The first part of tho your she studied music in tho Chicago Musical college, after which sho took the leading boy part in tho "Wizard of Oz" company, in which Montgomery and Stone were the stars. When the engagement closed in May, Miss Shcpard spent some weeks in Now York and Chicago before returning return-ing to Salt Lake, where sho will remain re-main for tho summer. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Cowling returned re-turned Wednesday from Los Angeles, where they went on their wedding trip. Mrs. Nelson A. Uansohoff will return re-turn to New York the flrst of next week, after a visit of six weeks with relatives and friends. Mrs. John Cain has returned from Illinois, where she was called some weeks ago by tho serious illness ot her mother. Harry Roberts has returned from San Francisco and is visiting with his brothers, Don Carlos and Frank Roberts. Tho wedding recoption of Miss Ellen Brighton and Joseph Shepherd, who wero married Thursday morning in the temple, was hold in the evening even-ing at the home of the bride's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Brighton, who wero assisted in receiving their guests by Miss Edna Jackson, Miss Vlletto Eartlly and Miss i.eta Barker.
