The quests .were received during the early nart of the evening by tho host and hostess, tho room on the west end of the church having been prepared for tho occnslon. Tho church was brilliant bril-liant with flowers, nnd tho east parlor was tastefully arranged with rugs, divans, di-vans, settees and tapestries. Flowers were used there in profusion nlso. Two small rooms on the south were fitted up for dining rooms. After tho musical mu-sical programme, n buffet supper was served In theso rooms. Mrs. Miller, whllo claiming only to bo nn amateur Tierformor on tho organ, does work that professionals might bo proud of. Her performance Tuesday night was most deservedly applauded by enthusiastic enthu-siastic and delighted friends. Mrs. Walter Fitch and the Misses Fitch entertained at a reception lea in honor of Mrs. C. H. Ahmand of London, England, who is their guest. Tuesday afternoon. Captain Marlx and his bride will be in Salt Lako about December 14, and will remain over for a short visit on their way to Los Angeles, where they will visit the Jovne family. Mr. and Mrs. W. H.
