Show CHESTER NASON. Harry Winchester Nason, better known to his many friends as "Chester" "Ches-ter" Nason, left this world for the other one on Monday evening at C o'clock, after an illness that has covered cov-ered several years. Heart failure was the cause of his departure. The do- ceased was 33 years of age, and was a nephew of Mrs. W. II. Bancroft. He was from Pennsylvania; fioin among the wooded It f lis and .pleasant dolls of Wayno county, where his boyhood's days were spent, and ho cherished many happy memories of days spent in fishing in Elk lake; in Purday's pond, down near Hemlock Hollow, and in Jones' pond, all of which were close to his homo in Honesdalo. For several sev-eral years he has been employed In the union ticket olllce of the Union Pa-rifle, Pa-rifle, Oregon Short Line and San Pedro, Pe-dro, and was a young man who had a host of friends who mourn for him. During his last hours ho was unconscious uncon-scious until just before the summons came, when ho rallied enough to bid his dear ones good-by, fully realizing that ho was going. It is sad to have to record tho pass, ing of a young man, such as was Nason, Na-son, and it is with sincere regret that wo note his going. Because it was not Intended in tho beginning that tho young should dio; death was contemplated contem-plated by tho Founder of All as a termination ter-mination for a long life of usefulness. To those who grlovo for his going Truth tenders expressions of the deepest deep-est sympathy. May Ho who rules nbovo extend to them tho consolation their wounded spirits require in this hour of affliction and loss. The funeral services wore hold from tho residence of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Bancroft yesterday afternoon, the interment in-terment being at Mt. Olivet. The floral offerings from friends were numerous and an Indication of the sadness of those who know tho young man and loved him. o |
