Pluinincr and Mrs. Frank A. Druchl gave a garden party Tuesday at Wandamcre. Several hundred hun-dred friends were invited and cars were chartered to take the entire party to the park. When they arrived a mandolin and guitar club in a boat greeted them with music, and this music continued all through the afternoon. after-noon. Musical numbers were given by Mrs. Plummcr, the Misses Isabel and Amy Osborne and Miss Edna Dwycr. One of the unique features was the Greek temple dance by Miss Martha Johnson in Greek costume, for which the vocalists sang the temple tem-ple anthem of the Vestal virgins Mrs. W. S. Loomis played the accompaniment. accom-paniment. Mrs. William Iglehart read some spring poems. .Refreshments .Refresh-ments were served by the following named young ladies: Miss Virginia Bcatty, Louise Osborne, Ethel Tyrce, Margaret Walker, Helen Harr and Aline McMillan. The hostesses were assisted by Mrs. F. A. Vincent, Mrs. Milton Oglesby, Mrs. Walter Druchl Mrs. John Cain and Mrs. Lcdyard M. Bailey. Mrs. T. G. Webber and Miss Webber Web-ber entertained Tuesday afternoon at a bridge tea. Eight tables were played. The tea table was decorated . with crimson peonies, and white ana green were used in the drawing room and library. The hostesses were assisted as-sisted in serving tea by Mrs. David Keith, Mrs. Ellsworth Daggett, Mrs. William McCaskcll, Mrs. Benjamin C. Lockwood and Mrs. J. E. Cainc. Mrs. Andrew I Iowa t and daughters daugh-ters received Tuesday afternoon at tea at their home on Seventh East street. In the dining room Mrs. W. S. Ellcrbcck and Mrs. Grant Hampton Hamp-ton poured tea and coffee, and they were assisted by the Misses Jean Odcll and Kate Groo. About 100 called during the afternoon hours. Cards have been received for the marriage of Miss Elizabeth Alfred Shingleur to Charles Augustus Richardson. Rich-ardson. Tltc marriage will take place Thursday evening, June 6th, at the First Methodist church in Jackson, Mich., the home of the bride. Miss Shingleur was a visitor to Salt Lake on several occasions. Mrs. L. II. Farnsworth and little daughter will leave June nth for Boston; where they will join hei daughter, Edna, 'and the three will sail from New York June 20, to be away a year. Mrs. Hector M.
