Show DEATH OF MRS. DR. M'ENERY. Very general sorrow was felt in Suit Lake City on account of the death of Mrs.rW. A. McEncry which occurred In San Francisco last Monday. Mon-day. Mrs. Mc-Encry was a Utah girl born in Summit county, of excellent family, the daughter of Mr. II. O Young. Sha was brought up and educated ed-ucated in this city and when a romping, romp-ing, blooming and refined young lady married D. C. McLaughlin, the well known mining man. Mr. McLaughlin died a good many years ago, leaving his widow an ample fortune which she wisely and at the same time liberally . used. Three or four years agowhen "" traveling abroad, she met Dr. McEn-ery McEn-ery in London, whom she afterwards married, and the union was altogether a happy on;. For some years she suffered from heart trouble which ultimately ul-timately caused her death. On account ac-count of her ailment she traveled extensively, ex-tensively, living mostly in lower altitudes al-titudes than those of Iicr native state Recently the family made their home in San Francisco, where her demise took place. She was very prominent in social circles not only in Utah but in California Cali-fornia also. She was a good, true woman and was regarded with feelings feel-ings of love and affection by a very wide circle of friends and acquaintances. acquaintan-ces. She leaves a husband, Dr. McEncry; Mc-Encry; one daughter, Miss Isabel; her father, II. O. Young of 227 South Eighth East street, this city; two sis ( tcrs, Mrs. Frank A'. Bird of 661 East l Fourth South street, and Mrs. V. C. ! Wallace of 327 South Eighth East I street, this city, and two brothers, Fred II. Young of Butte, and W. O Young of Blackfoot, Idaho. Mrs Andrew II. Young of South West Temple street, this city, is a widowed sister. The remains were brought to Salt Lake City and interred in Mount Olivet Oli-vet cemetery. Her death is sincerely mourned in this region. |
