Notice is hereby given that Brig-ham Brig-ham Rccs, whose postofficc address is Calder's Station, Salt Lake City, Utah, has made application in accordance accord-ance with the requirements of Chapter Chap-ter 108, Session Laws of Utah, 1905, to appropriate six (6) cubic feet per second of the water from Mansfield Spring branch of Joidan River, Salt Lake County, Utah. A scries of dams will be maintained in the natural channel of said stream, the first of which is situated at a point which lies 734 feet south and 253 feet west of the west quaitcr corner of Section 29, Township 1 south, Range 1 east, Salt Lake base and meridian. The last of the series of dams is situated sit-uated at a point which lies 73.4 feet south and 896.5 feet west from the corner above described. The ponds or runways created by the maintenance mainten-ance of these dams will be used from January 1st to December 31st, inclusive, inclu-sive, of each ycar.for fish culture purposes. pur-poses. After having been so diverted and used, the water will be returned to the natural channel of the stream at the point last above described. Richards, whose post office address is Sugar Station, Salt Lake City, Utah, has made application in accordance accord-ance with the requirements of Chapter Chap-ter 108, Session Laws of Utah, 1905, to appropriate five (5) cubic feet per second of water from Parley's Creek fork of Jordan River, Salt Lake County Utah. Said water will be diverted by means of a dam and flume at a point which bears north 60 degrees west 622 feet distant dis-tant from the south quarter corner of Section 17, Township I south, Rane 1 icast, Salt Lake base and meridian, from where it will be conveyed for a distance of 200 feel and there used from January 1st to December 31st, .JL inclusive, of each year, to develop f power for the purpose of electric lighting and propelling machinery at Sugar, Sal Lake County, Utah. After having been so diverted and used, the water will be returned to the natural channel of said stream at a point which bears north 61 degrees de-grees 20 minutes west 820.7 feet distant dist-ant from the point above described. Salt Lakc City, Utah, Feb. 25, 1907. Notice is hereby given that L. H. Gray, whosc post office address is Salt Lake City, Utah, has made application ap-plication in accordance with the requirements re-quirements of Chapter 10S, Session Laws of Utah, 1905, to appropriate ten (10) cubic feet per second of water from Kersey and Lee Creeks, Salt Lake County, Utah. Part of said water will be diverted from the first named stream at a point 1320 feet south of the southwest corner of Section 4. Township 1 south, Range 2 west, Salt Lake base and meridian. The remainder of said wawter will be dievrted from Lee Creek at a point 600 feet north of the above described corner. Dams will be maintained at the points above described and the water will be used to irrigate 480 acres of land embraced in Sections ,t 5 and 8, Townhsip 1 south, Range 2 W west, Salt Lake base and meridian, during the entire year. In additon to producing vegetation, which would not otherwise grow, alkaline salts, which impregnate the soil, will.be dissolved dis-solved and carried away. As a secondary purpose, the water, which may accumulate in ponds and lakes, will be used in the culture of wild fowls. This application is designated in the State Engineer's Office as No. 1080.
