Show j Right thinking people generally H whether believers in Christian Science Hin or not rejoice at the happy conclusion H 5 of the legal proceedings against Mrs. M " Eddy, the head of the Christian H Science denomination. The suit it nwas very evident were instituted maliciously and for the purpose of M gain. The proceedings were cruel fl in the extreme and altogether un- m justifiable. Mrs. Eddy's life and gool H works have been such as should make M i her sacred from such attacks. She M '' has probably done more to alcviats M both the mental and physical ills of M humanity than any other living pcr- M son. Whether one believes in Chris- M tian Science or not there is no ques- M tion but that it has borne good fruit. M Mrs. Eddy has never harmed anyone. H All her teachings and acts have been M ' actuated by the highest and most H benevolent motives. The ignominious H failure of the proceedings against H her is a matter for congratulation. |
