Show Local Happenings Fullmer is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Myron Fullmer of Bingham. A party was given last night, Thursday, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond B. Carter in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Carter of Avanall, Calif., who are visiting with relatives in Bingham and Salt Lake City. Others present were Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Carter and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Carter of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Veda Stoddard, Mr. and Mrs. Miles Gaythwaite and Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Carter. The California visitors were overnight over-night guests of the W. C. Carters Cart-ers last night. fives in Bingham, Copperton, Salt Lake, Midvale and West Jordan. They are leaving Sunday Sun-day to return to their home in Tagus. Enjoying the luncheon and fashion show at the Hotel Utah Starlight Gardens in Salt Lake City last Saturday were Mrs. Renee Hedquist and Mrs. Marie Dean Alpanalp of Provo, Miss Claudia Mortensen of Salt Lake City, Mrs. H. Roland Tietjen of Monroe, Mrs. O. G. Muir, Mrs. Eugene Morris and Mrs. A. D. Christensen of Bingham, Mrs. R. J. Smith, Mrs. John E. Knudsen and Mrs. E. V. Knudsen of Copperton. Among the members of the ZCMI College Board which presented pre-sented the ZOMI style revue, "The Keys to the Campus" in the Hotel Utah Lafayette ballroom ball-room Tuesday and Wednesday evening was Miss Frances Fullmer, Full-mer, representing USAC. Miss Mrs. Amy Johnson was in charge of the luncheon assisted by Mrs. Agnes Johnston, Mrs. Mohleta Porter, Mrs. Josephine Morris, Mrs. Ruth Jacques, Mrs. Virginia Green and Mrs. Alta Booth. Mrs. Blanche Reid was in charge of the piugram and as mistress of ceremonies introduced intro-duced the program in rhyme. Preceding the luncheon Mrs. Edna Thomas led the group in several soncs. Mrs. Victoria Lyon, Ly-on, president of tin- Relief Society, So-ciety, welcomed the sjroup, and Mrs. Lavantha Garrett offered the grace. Mr. and Miss Abrahamson, brother and sister, have been visiting, the past two weeks with rela-1 - August Wedding The Salt Lake LDS temple was the setting Wednesday, August 22, of nuptials uniting in marriage Miss Dorothy Margaret Mar-garet Andersen and J. Donald Poulsen. President Young solemnized solem-nized the ceremony. After the temple rites a wedding dinner for the bridal party and immediate imme-diate families was given at Hotel Ho-tel Temple Square followed by a reception honoring the newly-weds newly-weds held in Memorial House, Memory Grove. The bride, who made her home in Salt Lake City, is a daughter of Mrs. Hazel Andersen Ander-sen of Brigham City. Mr. and Mrs. Clinton E. Poulsen of Cop-; perton are parents of the bridegroom. bride-groom. The lovely bride was radiant in a gown of white satin traditionally tra-ditionally styled and finger tip veil of sheer illusion. She carried car-ried a bridal bouquet of white and pink roses. " j Bridal attendants were Missi Elaine Pease, Mrs. Kenneth j Poulsen, Miss Nancy Hancock,' Miss Donna Andersen and Miss Ellen Andersen. Valorie Poulsen: was flower girl. The maid of I honor was gowned in green taf-' feta as was the flower girl, and ; the others were gowned in rose j taffeta. All carried bouquets of i gladiolus. Assuming duties of best man , for his brother was Kenneth Poulsen. Clyde Nichols, BUI Russell, Dilworth Prisbey and Dick Petersen were ushers. The bride has attended the Holy Cross Hospital School of Nursing. The groom has been a student of the Utah State Agricultural Agri-cultural College at Logan where he was affiliated with Kappa Sigma fraternity. The couple plan to make their j home in Salt Lake City. j Out of town guest was Mrs. j John Jensen of California, only aunt of the bride. ! Bingham Ward Relief Society Luncheon A nicely arranged one o'clock luncheon was given by the Bingham Bing-ham Ward Relief Society at the wardhouse on Thursday, August Aug-ust 16, honoring six members who are moving or have already moved. Those honored were Mrs Hazel Robison, Mrs. Rita McNeely, Mc-Neely, Mrs. Christine Jacobs, Mrs. Evelyn Rawlings, Mrs. Elizabeth Eliz-abeth Robinett and Mrs. Gladys Ballamis. About 45 members were in attendance. Members were seated at tables arranged U-shaped, centered with arrangements of pastel summer flowers and white tapers tap-ers in silver and crystal holders.
